Eden - In class reading #5

In class, we talked about the reading regarding managers, fetishers, and the relationship they have to nature.  Managers have to take control because they are hands-on.  They learn how nature works and control it.  They work and protect like Adam and Eve were destined to do in the Garden.  Fetishers believe nature is good and pure.  They think humans need to flow along with nature.  Fetishers think man is equal with nature instead of them putting themselves above it.  To add my two cents on this matter, I feel as if nature should be treated fairly and above how humans have been treating it in today's view.  Forests are being torn down, buildings overtaking parks, and pollution at an all time high which shows how we as humans are not being good stewards of the beautiful land that was given to us.  More of us need to become fetishers because there are already too many managers who are destroying nature instead of preserving it.
