Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (student choice 2)
A few years ago, I was lucky enough to go on a
trip to Hawaii, and on this trip I visited the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
This park is amazing, and I think it’s a pretty unique national park because it
changes. It looks different today compared to 30 years ago because it’s made up
of an active volcano. My favorite part, though volcanoes are fascinating, was
this sea arch. I have never been so captivated and awestruck by nature. I could
have stood there watching the waves crash around the foot of the arch and
looking closely at the pieces of rock that made up the structure. I can’t
describe exactly how I was feeling while gazing at this beautiful piece of
nature, but I will say that I wish I could go look at a sea arch in person
every day to feel that calm and peacefulness that I felt in Hawaii.
