REVIVAL

Azusa Street. Wales. Vineyard. Toronto. Brownsville. Pensacola. What do all these names conjure up in our minds? They conjure up images of historic Christian revival that brought the fire and passion of God’s heart into the heart of His Church. It was a period marked by a mighty outpouring of Holy Spirit with physical manifestations, spiritual gifts, repentance, salvation, healing, and signs and wonders. As Christians, what are we to do with these historic events? Do we want to see the fulfillment of Matthew 24:14 in our generation? Are we ready to see the Lord come back and for the End to come as the Gospel is preached to all ethnos? Are we ready for a new Students Missions Movement to be birthed from historic revival on our college campuses? We are waiting for God to move and bring revival, but what would you do if I told you that God is actually waiting for us to move and do what we are called to do by our Lord: make disciples? What would it look like for an army of lovers of Christ to go out and radically love and lay down their lives, spreading the Gospel not in simply word, but in a transformed life lived? I want to see this happen in my generation and I want to behold His face in glory before I breathe my final breath. Come, Lord Jesus.
