Moana (student choice 4)

I watched Moana for the first time recently, and I absolutely loved the movie. Something I found really interesting was the belief of the people on the island that it will provide for them, and there is no need to venture away from the reef. They have everything they need on this piece of land. The premise of the movie is about Moana ventures away from the island so that she can restore its resources. She also discovers that the people on this island used to be venturers and travel from island to island. In the end [Spoiler] the tribe goes back to traveling to different islands. This aspect reminded me of Eisenberg's point about humans not being able to grow roots because things change, and resources get used up if people stay in one place for too long.
