How Far is Too Far (Class Reading)

I shared a Jurassic Park quote with the class when I presented on my Ecology topic. This was dealing with Biotechnology which I have already written a blog on. Basically, this quote says that scientists were so preoccupied with whether they could do something, they didn’t stop to think if they should. This is a question we need to keep asking ourselves if we plan on advancing more in technology. We look at our future and our own intellects, and we see no end to what we could do. Just if you can imagine something, it seems to be possible with the right amount of research. Are our motives pure, and do we have good intent?
